2015 Ford Mustang: Driving In Style

ford-mustang-exterior-side[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s with all Ford vehicles, the sixth generation 2015 Ford Mustang speeds its way to the top of its class with availability in 8 models, between its V6 to its GT variants. From its popular design to this year’s new aesthetic, the V6 sports a long list of both classic and new age innovations that make this car a great buy out of Ford’s Mustang category. The selling point of Ford’s flagship Mustang brand is its ability to combine modern concepts and historical performance into one vehicle.

Interior

The 2015 Ford Mustang V6 Fastback comes furnished with an all-new interior design that gives the driver the control and the desire for optimum performance. Alongside the sportier design of its interior, the V6 allows for a spacious front and back between its smaller steering wheel and ideally positioned shifter to its shaped front seats for optimal leg room. With its 4 seat capacity, 13.5 cubic ft. of trunk space, and foldable rear seats to accommodate for larger cargo, the V6 Fastback is built for practicality both inside and out. Thanks to the available settings on the dashboard toggle switches, the steering of this model can be changed based on driver’s preference. Between the three choices, normal, comfort, and sport, I prefer the softer turns of the comfort setting when on a long drive. It’s a nice feature that allows for smoother turns on the road and if anything is easy on the arms on those winding curbs.

Exterior

The exterior design of the V6 both fits in with the newer aesthetic and its older, expected performance. Designed with a wider, more aerodynamic chassis in mind, the V6 Fastback sits lower than previous models to accommodate that feel of the road under the driver. This model is also completely customizable to suit the needs of the driver, but at its base design incorporates 17-inch sparkle silver painted aluminum tires, standard dual exhaust pipes, HID headlamps, and LED tri-bar tail lamps for that sharp look in the front and back of the vehicle.

Under The Hood

The 2015 V6 Fastback comes standard with a 3.7 L V6 Engine, with 280 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm of torque that is capable of 300 hp @ 6500 rpm. The standard 6-speed manual transmission with its V6 engine provides the driver with 28 mph on the highway, and 17 mph in the city. While keeping with the notable standards of Ford’s Mustang brand, The V6 Fastback’s design improves one major setback of Mustang’s 50 years of vehicle production, its clunky rear axle system. This model replaces the old rear axle with a new, independent rear suspension system that gives the V6 a much smoother ride by comparison. This new system allows for the absence of the older models noticeably bumpier drive for its occupants, while allowing for the classic control and speed of the previous models.
