The 2016 Range Rover Sport is an extremely versatile SUV. While you may not be inclined to take a luxury vehicle on rough terrain and off-road, the 2016 Range Rover is completely equipped for it. You would not expect this from a luxury vehicle nor would you anticipate it to be as capable off the highway as it is on. The 2016 Range Rover Sport is full of pleasant surprises.

There are several aspects to the 2016 Range Rover Sport that make it ready for off-roading. Such as a wading depth of 33.5 inches and permanent all-wheel drive as well as a computer-controlled terrain response system. However, it would not be a sports vehicle if it did not also have speed and agility. Its turbodiesel V-6 engine has 254 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque and tops at 1,750 rpm. Additionally, the 2016 Range Rover Sport comes with a gasoline V6 or a V-8 option that comes in standard and SRV version. The standard version pumps out 510 horsepower and has an impressive 0-60 time of 5 seconds.

If that’s not enough power or speed, the SRV is capable of an incredible 550 horsepower, 502 pound feet of torque and a top speed of 162 mph. If you need to haul any toys and also like speed, the 2016 Range Rover Sport has you covered, with a maximum tow capacity of 7,716 lbs. But how does it drive, you might ask? It effortlessly weaves through traffic and accelerates seamlessly. And, I might add, with the standard turbo-diesel V-6, it boasts a fuel economy of 22mpg city, 29 highway.

As you would expect from a Range Rover the interior is of course beautifully crafted with top-of-the-line materials to give an opulent feel, down to the stitching on the supple leather upholstery. The control panel feels uncluttered and easily accessible and the Range’s big, 8-inch touchscreen is beautifully incorporated into the panel. The Range Rover includes the following: push-button start button, a USB port, Bluetooth, emergency brake assist, automatic climate control, a rearview camera and the InControl Touch infotainment system, an 11-speaker Meridian audio system.

You can also add the following features: a 17-speaker Meridian audio system, HD Radio, driver drowsiness monitoring, a Wi-Fi hot spot with an integrated 3G antenna, satellite radio, panoramic sunroof, navigation, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, automatic parallel and perpendicular park assist, a 360-degree camera system and a rear-seat entertainment system.

The 2016 Range Rover Sport is as versatile and comfortable as it is elegant and beautiful. With the Range Rover Sport, you can ride around the city in style, easily haul your favorite toys or go off-roading on rugged terrain. You can do all of these things while enjoying a beautifully styled interior with the best features and materials. If you want a luxurious vehicle that satisfies your desire for outdoorsy adventure, look no further than the 2016 Range Rover Sport.

The MSRP for the 2016 Range Rover Sport is $64,950.
