The City of Aventura proudly announces the 2016 GO GREEN RECOGNITION PROGRAM for residential and business properties. This prestigious award is presented by the Community Services Advisory Board to those properties whose efforts are to keep Aventura sustainable and green for generations to come.
There are several categories to apply for ranging from recycling initiatives to energy conservation practices and using native landscaping to establishing water saving practices. All residential and commercial properties are encouraged to apply. Winners will be recognized at the City’s Arbor Day Ceremony which will be held in April. This annual event recognizes the efforts of residential and business properties and ACES students to keep Aventura a greener place to live and work.
Applications are available on the City’s website and need to be received no later than Friday, February 26.
