During the City of Aventura’s Founders’ Day program, featured performer, legendary singer/actress Bernadette Peters, ‘wowed’ the full-house audience at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center there to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the City of Aventura. After her performance, Peters received a surprise visit from some gifted young singers.
Young Stars from the Aventura Marketing Council’s “Aventura Mall YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE presented by Mount Sinai Medical Center” visited with Peters backstage after her amazing performance. “She was so nice….so down-to-earth”, and “She made us feel so comfortable… just told us to keep following our dreams!” were just a few of the comments the Young Stars had after their visit.
