Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Todd Florin as the new Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Florin has been active member of Aventura Hospital’s Medical Staff for more than a decade. Previously, he served as Director of Electrophysiology and Medical Director of the Pacemaker Center at the Miami Heart Institute. Dr. Florin also served on the University of Miami faculty.

Among his many innovative accomplishments, Dr. Todd Florin was fundamental in bringing Magnetic Navigation to the state of Florida. He has been a Principle Investigator in several clinical trials utilizing this advanced technology and has also served on the advisory boards of several Medical Device Companies. Dr. Florin earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Michigan. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Cardiology and a second Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Maryland.
