Aventura Mall’s Treats Food Hall features ‘delicious new destinations’

Hundreds of Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) members recently enjoyed their Breakfast Meeting in the eclectic new Treats Food Hall on the third level of Aventura Mall’s expansion wing. Offering communal seating and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, the Food Hall includes newly-opened eateries: Zuuk Mediterranean Kitchen, Hank & Harry’s Delicatessen, Luke’s Lobster, GOGO Fresh and The BŌL. Soon to open are Miami’s first Figs + Mozzarella by Todd English, My Ceviche, Shake Shack, Chipotle, Poké 305, Sliderz, and Häagen Dazs.

Keynote speaker Bill Talbert, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Visitors & Convention Bureau, spoke about the great tourism statistics for Miami-Dade County to date, noting that “tourism and hospitality = jobs, jobs and more jobs for our community.” With the 2020 Super Bowl coming to Hard Rock Stadium, Northeast Dade will receive a tremendous positive economic impact. Talbert also announced the World Cup Series, U. S. sailing’s premiere event, will be held in Miami this year and looking forward to 2021, the College Football Playoffs National Championship Game will be held at Hard Rock Stadium.

Over 170 AMC business members and elected officials enjoyed breakfast from Zuuk Mediterranean Kitchen, Hank & Harry’s Deli and GOGO Fresh. Zuuk, part of Hospitality Capital Partners, is known for taking guests on a ‘Mediterranean journey’ with famous dips and spreads like hummus, tzatziki and Baba Ganoush, as well as grain bowls, pita, and entrees such as lamb, slow roasted beef and falafel. Hospitality Capital Partners will also open My Ceviche at Treats Food Hall, featuring fresh-from-the-ocean seafood.

Anabel Llopis, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing for Aventura Mall, said, “We were thrilled to welcome Aventura Marketing Council as our first official event at Treats Food Hall. Focused on Culture, Style and Taste, our new expansion wing offers an array of dynamic experiences with many more exciting additions to come.”

New stand-alone restaurants in the wing include CVI.CHE 105, Genuine Pizza, Pubbelly Sushi and Blue Bottle Coffee, with Serafina, Tap 42 Kitchen & Bar, Rosetta Bakery, Le Pain Quotidien and Joe and the Juice opening soon.

The expansion wing is located on the east side of the property and features the 93-foot-tall Aventura Slide Tower by Carsten Höller, which has already become an iconic destination.
