“Leadership” was the theme of an Aventura Marketing Council Chairman’s Roundtable luncheon hosted by Bnai Zion Foundation and Holistic Health Care Miami, featuring State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle. The event highlighted successful leaders dedicated to diverse missions including humanitarianism, natural healing and crime fighting.

AMC Chair Cliff Schulman of Weiss Serota, Helfman, joined by Bnai Zion southeast regional director Eileen Glastein; and Holistic Health Care Miami cofounders Maria Stellato and Adriana Perez welcomed business and community leaders to Christine Lee’s at Gulfstream Park.

Leading the way in the fight against crime, Rundle explained, “At the State Attorney’s Office, my team is dedicated to the protection of you and your family. As part of our mission to combat crime, we’ve developed support and educational programs targeting such problems as ID theft, hurricane consumer fraud, domestic violence, child abuse and child safety.”

Reporting good news about a drop in crime despite high unemployment rates, Rundle noted, “A lot of good partnerships and effective strategies have brought violent crime down over the past decade; and our public corruption unit is one of the most aggressive in the state. We want to be able to stand proud and be a wonderful beacon, named Miami- Dade County, for the rest of the world to see.”

In the spirit of “improving and transforming lives,” Glastein announced the Bnai Zion Foundation’s Community Leadership Award Luncheon, on December 8th at the Newport Beachside Hotel will benefit special-needs children in Ma’aleh Adumim, Israel.

The event will honor Gary Barg and Steven Barg of Today’s Caregiver; Linda Barg Manzini of Caring Home Care; Robert Festinger of the Newport Beachside Hotel and Ben Launerts of Parksman Parking.

While Bnai Zion is dedicated to supporting Israel through diverse humanitarian projects serving the less fortunate through medical, educational and social service programs, Holistic Health Care Miami provides holistic therapies creating a positive effect on mind and body health.

Stellato and Perez, both licensed in Oriental and Chinese medicine, explained, “Holistic healing treatments are the most natural and effective way to correct energy imbalances in the body to achieve maximum health. We can treat a variety of symptoms and disorders using non-invasive, holistic modalities including acupuncture, massage and physical therapy, Chinese herbs, homeopathy and hypnotherapy. Healing Reiki treatments, skin care and nutritional counseling are also available.”
