“Happiness and wealth” – optimistic themes of the Chinese New Year, were recently celebrated at Christine Lee’s when the famous restaurant at Gulfstream Park hosted a “Taste of the Chinese New Year Networking Reception & Expo” in conjunction with the Aventura Marketing Council, Junior Achievement and the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce.

Over 500 guests were welcomed to the festive occasion by Christine Lee’s hospitable proprietor Mary Lee and marketing director Elaine Gengo, who helped ensure 85 exhibitors benefited from what was heralded as “The best Expo yet!” spanning the restaurant’s entire expansive dining and lounge areas.

Anyone who bet on the Nov. 3rd Expo being just as exciting as the day Mary Lee’s mother, Christine Lee, first brought the restaurant to Sunny Isles Beach in the 1970’s was a big winner! Always on the right track when it comes to serving renowned prime sirloin steaks and Asianinspired cuisine, Mary Lee began the next chapter of an historic story in 2007 when she brought her family tradition of providing great food and service to Gulfstream Park.

The “winner’s circle” of business and community leaders exchanging business cards and enjoying fabulous hors d’oeuvres were impressed with all the diverse exhibits (many creatively decorated with an Asian theme) displaying information about everything from banking, wealth management, e-commerce, insurance and legal services – to healthcare, security, education, arts and culture and fabulous vacations.

Everyone was also racing over to compliment Mary Lee on the modern design of Christine Lee’s, located on the third floor of Gulfstream Park, overlooking the track and gardens. Best described as “where culinary artistry meets casual elegance,” the restaurant features two outdoor lounge areas, a nearly 12,000 square-foot dining room, linen tablecloth service, an “endless” sushi bar and a full liquor bar.

Ideal for holiday parties, Christine Lee’s is also the perfect year-round venue for expos, trade shows and large corporate functions as well as festive occasions including weddings and Bar Mitzvahs. Luxurious suites are another unique option perfect for special events or just a fun day at the races (starting Jan. 5th at Gulfstream Park).

Before the Expo reached the finish line, Lee expounded on “ a celebration of new beginnings and the renewal of family ties’ – more proactive themes associated with the Chinese New Year.

“We look forward to continuing to provide our clientele – new and existing- with the same quality service that has always made Christine Lee’s such a landmark establishment in Florida; and partnering with organizations like the Aventura Marketing Council, Junior Achievement and Miami-Dade Chamber for events like this Expo that help build business and community ties,” Lee said.

However you find your way to Christine Lee’s, you’ll know you’ve found your way home!”

Christine Lee’s is open for dinner daily and offers convenient delivery service. Lunch will be served during Gulfstream Park’s racing meet starting January 5th. Reservations are accepted for parties of four or more; and space is available for a wide variety of private and corporate functions.
