FOUNDERS PARK SOUTH TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Founders Park South (the area south of NE 190 Street only) will be closed for logistical support purposes during the construction of the Aventura Government Center Parking Garage starting December 3, 2012 until the project is completed in June 2013. AVENTURA WINTER CAMP
Join your friends in the Whimsical Wonderland. Campers will celebrate their unbirthdays with a variety of games and activities. Aventura Winter Camp will be held Monday, December 24, through Friday, January 4 at the Aventura Community Recreation Center.
Camp will end at 12:30 p.m. on December 24 and December 31 and no camp will be held on December 25 and January 1. Field trip destinations include Fort Lauderdale Art Museum and Flamingo Gardens. Winter Camp is open to children ages 5-14 years.
The Community Recreation Center is located at 3375 NE 188 Street and camp hours are 7:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. daily. The fee is $153 for Aventura residents and $184 for non-residents. Register at the Community Recreation Center, Waterways Park or online at www.cityofaventura.com.
