The City of Aventura presents two “can’t miss” shows this March at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.
Catapult: The Amazing Magic of Shadow Dancing brings the captivating performers from NBC’s America’s Got Talent to Aventura on March 18 at 2 and 7 p.m.
This family-friendly show is full of humor, emotion and engaging stories as the troupe combines dance, story-telling and acrobatic sculpture. Working behind a screen, they create seemingly impossible dancing shadow silhouettes of shapes including a mountain, full-size elephant and helicopter.
Its movie adaptation won three Academy Awards, but when you see On Golden Pond performed live on March 21 at 8 p.m. it will win your heart.
Montana Rep’s National Touring production stages this stirring tale of a single family and how they pull apart and then find each other continues to resonate with the universal emotions of parenthood, aging and the feeling of being lost––and hopefully found.
