If you haven’t made plans yet for New Year’s Eve, then be sure to turn to the Fairmont Turnberry Isle. The legendary Aventura resort is pulling out all the stops and streamers with these festive events:
NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER AT BOURBON STEAK
First-seating begins at 6 p.m. and features three courses including a choice of burrata heirloom tomato salad, ahi tuna tartare, perigord truffle risotto with seared scallops, or roasted sunchoke soup to start; a main course selection between Maryland striped sea bass, organic Scottish salmon, grilled chicken breast, or American Kobe filet “Rossini” with a shallot potato cake and foie gras; and concludes with a choice between a sticky toffee pudding, traditional beignets or a selection of seasonal sorbets and ice cream.
Second-seating starts at 9 p.m. and features a six-course menu showcasing an American caviar parfait to start, roasted sunchoke soup, Hudson Valley foie gras terrine, Maryland striped sea bass, a wood-grilled rib eye & glazed short rib and sticky toffee pudding. Complimentary glass of champagne each, live band and party favors included.

NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL
Feast on gourmet selections from a lavish reception and then enjoy a sit-down dinner and dancing. The resort’s New Year’s Eve Ball will be held in the elegant Grand Ballroom complete with a 10-piece band, balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight for a magical evening. NEW YEAR’S DAY
Then after a late night of jubilation, be sure to head over to Cascata Grille for a delicious New Year’s Day brunch that’s sure to hit the spot. From 12 noon to 3 p.m., $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited and reservations are required by calling 786-279-6800.
