Four Luminaries to be Honored at Bnai Zion’s Annual Gala

The Southeast region of the Bnai Zion Foundation (bnaizion.org) will honor four community leaders at its annual gala on Thursday, December 5 at the Dezer Collection Auto Museum in North Miami. Being recognized are Michael Abrams of Ballard Partners, recipient of the organization’s Distinguished Humanitarian Award; Pastor Mario Bramnick, New Wine Ministries Church, recipient of the Olam Tikvah Award; Bill Hansen, Bill Hansen Catering, recipient of the Community Service Award, and special guest speaker, Dr. Robert Stearns, Eagles’ Wings Ministries, recipient of the America-Israel Friendship Award.

Bnai Zion, in existence 105 years, supports humanitarian projects in Israel that improve the lives of thousands in need across the religious, ethnic and economic spectrum. Its projects in medical, educational, social service and cultural areas transform and strengthen Israeli society.

Proceeds from this dinner will be used to fund construction of a new protected underground emergency department, fortified against nuclear, biological and chemical attack, at the Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, a 450-bed hospital serving the northern communities of Israel that was on the front lines of the Second Lebanon War. Building this unit is the highest priority of the Medical Center, and Bnai Zion has a $2 million matching gift program for all contributions made to this project.
