Jackson North Medical Center hosts Mid Life Women’s Health Seminar

Jackson North Medical Center will host a mid life women’s health seminar at 8:30 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 25th. The seminar, sponsored by Jackson North Medical Center, Florida International University Wertheim College of Medicine, and the Pritikin Longevity Center, will feature topics including: “What’s Happening to Me? – The Normal Changes of Mid Life”; “Keeping Your Mind and Body Healthy – Before, During and After Menopause”; “Osteoporosis – What is it and how do we deal with it?”; “Cardiovascular Health Issues at Mid-Life”; and “Hormone Replacement & Bioidenticals – What’s the latest?”

Speakers for the seminar include Bernard Cantor, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the newly established Florida International University College of Medicine and an attending physician at Jackson North Medical Center; Barbara Udell, Ph.D., director of Lifestyle Education at the Pritikin Longevity Center in Aventura; and Mark Multach, M.D., associate professor and chair of Florida International University College of Medicine’s Department of Medicine and associate chief medical officer at Jackson North Medical Center.
