Jewish Community Services (JCS) recently announced that the Surf Bal Bay Club is coming to Aventura. This innovative membership-based program for adults aged 60 and over living in the Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor – and nowAventura area provides comprehensive services designed to keep seniors active, healthy and living at home, where they want to be.
“The Surf Bal Bay Club is a terrific value for anyone, especially someone like me who lives alone,” said Lowell Steigler, one of the first to sign up. “In addition to a 24-hour emergency response system, transportation services and social activities, I enjoy the peace of mind of knowing I have a proverbial ‘life preserver’ of support services if I ever need it.”
Fred Stock, JCS President and CEO, has been gratified by the response from the public for JCS’ newest initiative, saying “The Surf Bal Bay Club is yet another way JCS is investing in the well being of our community, by enriching and enhancing our members’ lives.”
