Miami Jewish Health Systems hosts 2011 Douglas Gardens Classic Golf Tournament

On Thursday, February 24th, Miami Jewish Health Systems will host the annual Douglas Gardens Classic Golf Tournament co-sponsored by The Men’s Club and Next Generation – a day of golf and games benefiting the nearly 3,700 people the non-profit organization treats daily through community-based, residential and on-campus medical programs.

The 2011 Douglas Gardens Classic will feature a special appearance by PGA Champions Tour golfer – and long-time supporter of Miami Jewish Health Systems – Bruce Fleisher who will be hosting a golf clinic 30 minutes prior to tee-off time, free to all participants. This year’s tournament will also include a Grand Raffle Drawing with spectacular prizes such as a 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise, a Toshiba flat-screen TV and an Apple iPad to name a few.

The event will take place at Miami’s Westview Country Club at 2601 NW 119 Street. Registration and brunch begins at 11 a.m. with tee-off time at 12:15 p.m. Individual participation fees start at $100 – golf and games include brunch, cocktail reception and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are available beginning at $500 with previously committed companies including Publix, Toyota of South Florida, William Lehman Auto World, Toshiba, Humana, Lincoln Financial, and Colonial Insurance.
