Mount Sinai Medical Center welcomes Janice Santos, M.D.

Mount Sinai Medical Center welcomes Dr. Janice Santos as its newest Assistant Professor of Urology at Columbia University’s Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Mount Sinai’s partnership with New York’s Columbia University Division of Urology is a unique, Ivy-League collaboration offering expert medical care and life-saving clinical cancer research for South Florida patients.

Dr. Santos is one of South Florida’s select few women urologists who also specialize in female urology. In her role at Mount Sinai, Dr. Santos will provide her special expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of the various urologic cancers that affect both men and women, male and female incontinence, vaginal prolapse, voiding dysfunction, urodynamics, neurogenic voiding dysfunction and surgical outcomes.

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Santos received her undergraduate and medical degree from The University of Puerto Rico. She completed her urology residency training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Santos arrived to Mount Sinai Miami Beach after completing further urological training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center. She is a member of various professional organizations including the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, Society of Women in Urology and Society of Urologic Oncology to name a few.
