Global furniture icon Roche Bobois has officially opened the doors of their new Aventura showroom, where Patrick Cabaroc has been named manager. The showroom is located at 19907 Biscayne Boulevard. Just prior, Cabaroc was Design Director at Roche Bobois’ Coral Gables showroom, a position he will also fill at the new 4,000-sq.-ft. Aventura location. Roche Bobois is the world’s largest designer and distributor of high-end contemporary furniture, lighting, accessories and wall coverings with over 270 showrooms in 45 countries. Virtually all furnishings can be customized to meet specific design specifications.
Before relocating to the U.S. from France, Cabaroc was well established in residential and commercial interior design as well as furniture design. He spent several years as a designer at Royal Gallery and Romeo in Paris and at Jean Camuset Consulting in Neuilly. In addition to the U.S. he has created designs in Monaco, Belgium, Switzerland, China, Russia, Kuwait and Lebanon. A highlight of his Middle East commissions includes a project for the King of Saudi Arabia. He received his formal education at Ecole des Arts Appliqués (School of Applied Arts) in Poitiers, France, where he was also a professor of interior design.
“Given the worldclass lifestyle and an international league of residents for which Aventura is well-known, it will take someone of Patrick’s caliber and global experience to meet the high expectations of our clients,” explained Julien Bigan, Roche Bobois Communications Director, U.S. “His extensive knowledge of art, furniture design and architecture as well as interior design makes him ideally suited for projects at the highest level, whether it’s consulting on select furnishings or providing the full spectrum of interior design services.
