The Miami-Dade and Broward County Ford and Lincoln Dealers and the Executive Committee of Salute to Education, Inc., one of South Florida’s largest private scholarship foundations, are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Salute to Education Scholarship Golf Tournament. The event will take place on Friday, March 11, at the prestigious Ft. Lauderdale Country Club from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Established in 1926, Fort Lauderdale Country Club is proud to be the oldest private country club in Broward County. The Fort Lauderdale Country Club is the only private club that offers 36-holes of manicured championship golf in a forested park-like setting as well as the finest practice facility around.
Over the last 21 years, Salute to Education, Inc. has awarded nearly $3.7 million in scholarships to more than 4,100 deserving graduating public and private high school seniors in both Miami-Dade and Broward County. Salute to Education, Inc., established in 1994, is a non-profit organization funded through dealership contributions, community support and corporate support from Ford Motor Company.
