Sponsorship deal offered to support Krop Senior High baseball team

By Lynn Carroll….
It may seem out of season, but it’s time to play hardball, say the folks at Dr. Michael M. Krop Sr. High School.

For the uninitiated, they’re talking about the Krop Lightning nine. It strikes far more than it strikes out, but to succeed it needs teamwork both on the inside and from the stands. In that spirit, Krop officials are recruiting supporters for what they call a win-win situation to keep the ball in play.

Here’s the pitch directly from Krop’s College Assistance Program Advisor Robert E. Roddy.

“We’re offering a full-color, 6-foot banner on our baseball field along with a full-color coupon in our new coupon book,” he says.

“It’s an awesome way to promote a business!”

Roddy is asking fans to please pass the word along to any business that could benefit from getting word about its products or services out on the playing field.

“A small contribution to Krop,” he says, “can not only make a huge difference for our team, but also for any enterprise.”

Roddy says in the past Krop has enjoyed a great response from local businesses popular in the community, and always hopes to add to its roster of supporters.

And time flies like a shot to the outfield, he says, so there’s some urgency in the situation.

“Donors should please contact me as soon as possible,” Roddy says, “as our coupon book and the banners are going to press very soon.”

Contributions, he adds, are 100% taxdeductible.

Checks in any amount can be made out to Lightning Baseball Booster Club II and sent to Adrienne Scheck, 19400 Ambassador Ct., Miami, FL 33179, or call 305-652-6808, x. 184.
