University of Miami Football Team Coaching Staff

Although the Miami Hurricanes football team has had an 89-62 record since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), it has failed to reach Printthe ACC championship game, let alone win an ACC title, but things are looking bright to turn around the Hurricanes’ program.

New head coach Mark Richt, who comes in with a 145-51 (.740 winning percentage) career record as a head coach at the University of Georgia, is looking to carry on his winning culture with the Canes. Along with all that he will bring to the UM football program, the cream of the crop coaches coming along with him will boost the program to the next level.

With tough challengers on schedule- such as rivalry games against Florida State and Notre Dame- Richt and his new team will have the chance to prove themselves. Winning big games such as those, and winning the ACC title are goals that Richt and his new staff will pursue this season as they rebuild the program towards being one of the college football’s best again.

It will be intriguing to see how the already- talented Canes roster plays under the new coaching regime.

Following are brief notes on Richt and the rest of the coaching staff. Full biographies can be found at www.hurricanesports.com/SportSelect.dbm.
