Over 300 guests walked into the beautiful Aventura Arts & Cultural Center recently to be amazed by the sight of eight year-old Brandon Goldberg—“Mr. Personality”—playing the piano like a pro. And that was just the prelude to a magical evening of family entertainment provided by ten incredible young stars, ranging in age from eight to seventeen.

Creative Director Ran Oz, CooLAM Productions, worked with the youngsters for three months, bringing in professional dancers and creating a superb video backdrop with the help of Miami Media School for each performance. Circo Massimo Entertainment videotaped the show as well as live-streamed it, and over 400 people around the nation enjoyed watching the live show. Over the years, word has spread about the YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE (YSS), and youngsters came from Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade County to audition and hopefully participate. Ten youngsters were selected and then months of rehearsals followed, resulting in one of the most successful YSS events to date.

Cliff Schulman, Aventura Marketing Council Chairman and YSS Chairman thanked all the sponsors, including AT&T, Aventura Mall, Mount Sinai Medical Center Aventura, Gables Aventura, Fidelity Investments and everyone who helped by being a “Friend of the Young Stars”. Broadway actress, author and renowned teacher and coach, Jodie Langel, served as Emcee. As founder of “Making It on Broadway”, Jodie pairs future young stars with international stars such as Megan Hilty, Kristin Chenoweth and

Jason Alexander.
