Redwood Media Group, the nation’s leader in exhibitions and event production, media, and marketing for the global fine art community, announces its highly anticipated five-day annual showcase during this year’s Miami Art Week, taking place Dec. 6–10 in the heart of Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District.

Spectrum Miami, Red Dot Miami, and ArtSpot Miami form the acclaimed contemporary and fine art experience that collectively presents some of today’s most coveted national and international artists and galleries from the U.S and around the world. Redwood Media Group, based in California, exclusively produces the three art fairs housed in one location — considered to be the only multi-show production of its kind during Miami Art Week.

The exhibition space and purpose-built structure on NE Second Avenue, which Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami have occupied as sister art fairs for the past two years, has grown to become the ultimate destination for the fine art industry professional and contemporary art enthusiast who collectively seek a more accessible experience with exhibits showcasing the world’s most progressive portfolios by some of today’s elite artists, galleries, and emerging talents. The shows attract more than 38,000 attendees each year and represent more than 650 artists and galleries worldwide.

“We look forward to presenting three of our most prestigious annual shows, all of which will be exclusively developed and operated by RMG under one roof for the second year,” said Eric Smith, president of Redwood Media Group. “Wynwood Arts & Entertainment District has become the epicenter for the avant-garde urban and cultured art scene during Miami Art Week, and we like to think of our central location as an international village of art within which the entire industry converges to do business and enjoy five days of artistic entertainment.

“Acquiring ownership of Red Dot Miami in 2015 and moving to the Arts & Entertainment District during the same year positioned our multi-show format as a major highlight of the art world’s most important week of the year,” he added.

Red Dot Miami, a curated gallery-only contemporary art show, now in its 12th year, presents [IMPACT] as the curatorial theme for 2017.

Spectrum Miami, a curated, contemporary art show, now in its seventh year, presents special programs and site-specific exhibitions that showcase the thriving art landscape of the city, informed by the 2017 curatorial theme [FUSION]: the merging of artistic mediums, of exhibitors and collectors, and of the countless galleries and artists who come together to showcase their work.

ArtSpot Miami will be celebrating its fifth anniversary within Spectrum Miami in 2017. ArtSpot Miami is a specially curated show by Aldo Castillo, an international art dealer and curator.

The annual Opening Night Preview Party for Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 1700 NE Second Ave., and will feature innovative contemporary art from over 100 galleries and artists, live fashion, cocktails, and DJ entertainment. Tickets for the Opening Night Preview Party are priced at $50. General Admission tickets for Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami are $25 for one day and $75 for the Opening Night Preview Party with a five-day pass. Tickets grant access to Spectrum Miami, Red Dot Miami, and ArtSpot Miami. A percentage of all ticket sales benefit Life Is Art, a Miami-based charity.
