[dropcap]M[/dropcap]iami’s serial entrepreneur Riccardo Silva received the “Best Media Executive” Award at The Globe Soccer Awards. The ceremony took place in December 29th at the Atlantis The Palm in Dubai as part of the 9th Dubai International Sports Conference.
Founded in 2004, MP & Silva is the worldwide leader in the distribution of TV rights. The firm managed and distributed the FIFA World Cup, English Football Association, English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Scottish League, Brazilian League, Belgian League, Roland Garros tennis, MLS, NBA, Formula7 One, the Olympic Council of Asia and many others. After relocating to Miami in 2008, Silva established the company’s Latin American headquarters in the Magic City.
On its 6th edition, the prestigious Globe Soccer Awards prestigious awards recognize each year the best in the soccer / industry by acknowledging the contributions and accomplishments of several professionals and / or organizations in the world of soccer in the following categories Best Player of the Year, Best Agent of the Year, Agent Career Award, Player Career Award, Best Coach of the Year, Coach Career Award, Best Media Attraction in Football, Best Club of the Year, Marca Fan’s Favorite Player, Best Fan of the Year; Best Referee and Best Media Executive.
