Grove Arts and Historical Assn. makes donation to Miami Culinary Institute

The Coconut Grove Arts and Historical Association, producers of the annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival (CGAF), recently presented the Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) and the Miami International Hospitality Center (MIHC) at Miami Dade College (MDC) with a $5,000 scholarship donation.

The check presentation by the Arts Festival’s president, Monty Trainer, took place at Tuyo restaurant on the college’s downtown Wolfson Campus.

Funds provided by the organization provide financial assistance to students pursuing a two-year Associate in Science degree in Culinary Arts Management, which comes complete with hands-on instruction by some of the world’s best professional chefs, or financial assistance toward their studies in Hospitality Management.
