Grove Sports Club, formerly Grove Softball, has announced the addition of two new coed sports in Coconut Grove during weeknights.

In addition to softball, Grove Sports Club now is offering Ultimate Frisbee (Tuesday) and Kickball (Thursday). Recently, Eric Pino and Adam Scholer from Castaways Against Cancer (www.castawaysagainstcancer.com) tossed the ceremonial first throw in the inaugural Ultimate Frisbee League at Peacock Park.

Games are played Monday through Thursday (depending on the sport), from 7 to 10 p.m. Leagues are open to all skill levels as long as the players are age 21 or older. Grove Sports Club also offers free pickup games (for all different sports) throughout the entire year. Following each game, club members head to Sandbar to socialize.

Grove Sports Club announces addition of two coed sportsGrove Sports Club is a different type of adult coed sports club. Although club members enjoy sports and thrive on their competitive nature, they focus on having fun, getting to know each other off the field, and giving back to our community. As you may or may not have noticed, there are 3 symbolic T’s in GSC’s logo. They represent the 3 T’s of charitable giving: Time, Talent, and Treasure. By using their 3 T’s, Grove Sports Club partners with local charities in order to help make our community a better place.

Grove Sports club currently is looking for new teams, small groups, and individuals as well as charity partners for its upcoming seasons.Register today at www.grovesportsclub.com.
