Jungle Island rewarding school teachers with free park entry

birdsAs part of its continued commitment to give back to the community, Jungle Island invites teachers to enjoy the park for free during the attraction’s “March Madness” promotion.

Every weekend in March, Miami-Dade and Broward County teachers, in both public and private schools, will receive complimentary admission to Jungle Island, plus a discount of 50 percent off for up to four guests.

“Teachers play a vital role in our community by laying the foundation for our kids and teens’ future success,” said Christopher Gould, managing director of Jungle Island. “This is our way of giving back to our educators — by thanking them with a free, fun day in the park.”

As an additional token of appreciation, teachers will enjoy a “thank you” gift and be entered into a contest to win a free fieldtrip for their classroom. Each year, Jungle Island hosts over 60,000 students on class fieldtrips designed to create awareness of wildlife and conservation in an exciting and memorable way.

Additionally, the park provides teachers with a number of educational tools and various programs to bring the jungle back to their classroom. Teachers can take advantage of the March Madness promotion every Saturday and Sunday on the following dates: Mar. 7-8; Mar. 14-15; Mar. 21- 22 and Mar. 28-29. To redeem, teachers must show valid ID card or pay stub along with a picture ID. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions.
