Local artist featured in Spring 2012 issue of SSWC

Doug Casper of Imperial, MO is featured in the Spring 2012 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts. SSWC is the premier publication devoted to the art and hobby of scroll saw cutting and design. The issue will be available on newsstands on January 10th.

Doug Casper works as a physical therapist assistant and has been working with wood as a hobby for eighteen years. The woodworker focuses mostly on intarsia and marquetry, but he has built a few small pieces of furniture.

Doug wrote an article called “Create an Intarquetry Scene” for the upcoming issue. A PDF of the article is attached. Digital images from the article are available upon request.
