MV Group breaks ground on Med style building in Design District MV Construction & Interiors Group, elected officials and partners recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the 4136 N. Miami Ave. property in the heart of Miami’s Design District.

Lead by Manny Angelo Varas, the project’s developer, general contractor and Harvard University alumnus of the distinguished Graduate School of Design, the event marked a milestone in the continued development of the popular Miami retail sector. “We are thrilled to commence construction of this great property as it will further define the growth and appeal of the Design District,” said Varas, CEO and president of MV Group.

“We are honored to contribute to the ongoing development of the area, and can’t wait to reveal our progress over the coming months.”

With completion expected in 2016, the building will feature Mediterranean style architecture, contrasting from the modern construction and design of existing buildings in the area. The ground floor will boast 2,978 square feet of retail space, with the second and third floors housing more than 6,000 square feet of office space.

A luxurious rooftop deck will round out the design and be available for tenants along with 26 underground parking spaces. Occupying the entire building is an option as well. Metro 1 Properties is the exclusive listing agent for the development, handling tenant inquiries.
