Omni Offices welcomes corporate HQ for Resorts World Bimini/MiamiWith interest mounting among major multinational corporations eyeing space in downtown Miami, 30,000 square feet of space at the Omni Offices has been occupied as the headquarters for Resorts World Bimini and Resorts World Miami.

The office, which accounts for net positive absorption in downtown Miami, becomes the submarket’s largest new occupancy to take shape in 2013. All told, approximately 150 people are employed in the Resorts World offices.

An additional 185,000 square feet of office space remains available for lease at the Omni Offices, making it the largest amount of contiguous space now available in Miami’s urban core. Resorts World Bimini and Resorts World Miami join the Miami International University of Art & Design, the U.S. State Department, and the U.S. Diplomatic Security and Passport Agency as the property’s largest tenants.

CREC principal Steven Hurwitz, vice president Douglas Okun and leasing associate Amy von Hofen are spearheading the property’s leasing and marketing campaign on behalf of the Genting Group, which owns the Omni Offices. Genting also operates Resorts World Bimini and is finalizing plans for the development of Resorts World Miami.

“Beyond creating new jobs and positive absorption for the downtown Miami market, the debut of the Resorts World Bimini and Resorts World Miami offices send a clear signal to the community that Genting is committed to rehabilitating the Omni Center and advancing the ongoing revival of the Arts and Entertainment District,” Hurwitz said.

Located at 1501 Biscayne Blvd., immediately north of Miami’s Central Business District, the Arts and Entertainment District surrounding the Omni Offices is coming alive with new condominiums, retailers, restaurants and cultural venues, including the Adrienne Arsht Center and nearby Museum Park, which will soon be home to the Perez Art Museum Miami and Frost Museum of Science. These components are spurring pedestrian activity and billions of dollars in new commercial and residential development.

With flexible floor plates totaling nearly 75,000 square feet, 20-foot ceiling heights, and floor to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the surrounding cityscape, the Omni Center presents a unique opportunity for large format users looking to locate in downtown Miami. Leased spaces will be fully built-out to suit tenants’ needs, offering users an opportunity to design first generation space from scratch.

“Several brand name tenants have approached our team about leasing all or part of the remaining office space, and space negotiations continue with them now,” Hurwitz added. “This interest is a positive sign for the downtown Miami office market, indicating that major users see value in locating their corporate offices within the urban core.”

The building offers ample parking in an adjoining garage, as well as several public transit options, including the Downtown-Brickell Trolley and a Metromover station that is connected to the building by a bridge.

The Omni Offices also benefit from close proximity to thousands of newly built and planned residences in Miami’s Central Business District, Midtown and Edgewater neighborhoods. A short drive across the Venetian or MacArthur Causeways offers a direct link to Miami Beach and Miami International Airport is located just minutes to the west.

  1. Good afternoon,
I cannot imagine, such a big company as this can have so many irresponsible, unprofessional individuals working.Everyhting has been a constant lie.! begining with Ms. KATIE PEREZ-DOERSCHEM. I was initially ocntacted by someone at RW Bimini that I had won the sweepstake that was done LOVE and LUXURY. They contacted me, then Ms. Perez-Doerschem further on contacted me in making the supposed arrangements for the trip. Eveytime I called her back, since I waited for her response, and she would notsend me the confirmation, I would call her. She would then tell. me,the trip is ready, REQUESTED MY SENSITIVE INFORMATION, Passports and residency over e mail. NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN!Then I placed a message on Facebbok where the contest was. And a Mr. Aaron Keene contacted me. Again, verified, said tha yes there was a trip won, asked me, once again to submit documents to reserve, NOTHING! I have tried to contact someone in the corporate offices, I keep hitting dead ene streets. Back in April, when They had infomred me, my husband and I did not do any other plans to go elsewehere, thinlking that we would go on this trip. This coming Thrusday is his birthday, he took vacation to go to this so called trip that never occurred. What a lack of sense of responsability and ethic does your company have. You advertise everywhere, but in my honest opinion, you must first hold you employees accountable and responsible, for the sake of you name, and that lies that your employees give their customers.I had a prior experience, being that I had once visited Bimini, but after this, there is no way I or anyone that asks me, would go or recommend
