Pumpkin Patch Festival scheduled Sept. 29 and 30 at Peacock Park

For the first time ever, South Florida families will get to experience the excitement around the change of seasons at the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival taking place Sept. 29 and 30 at Peacock Park. Join in to welcome fall the last weekend of September at this one-of-a kind family festival set along p i c t u r e s q u e Biscayne Bay from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. both days.

The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival will feature a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including a true pumpkin patch in the center of all the action with more than 2,000 pumpkins. Kids also will enjoy the hay maze, kids fun zone with rides and inflatable attractions, a dress-your-own scarecrow village, and ongoing shows on the main stage. Adults will be thrilled with all the activities planned, including the opportunity to decorate your pumpkins right on-site, as well as shop from more than 20 family friendly vendors.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring this new and exciting event to the community,” said Vanessa Goodis, Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch event director. “As a South Florida native, I never got to enjoy the seasons, and this event will create longlasting memories for all our families that partake in what we’re calling a wonderfall celebration of the season!” In addition to all entertainment and attractions, there will be a Foodie Feast area serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day.
