As part of its “Bring Change” campaign, TD Bank’s Penny Arcade has served as a designated hub to support Neat Stuff. The bank invited people to participate in a community coin counting event and fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 6.

The community, along with TD Bank, raised $2,674 via the bank’s Penny Arcade for the organization through the TD Banks Bring Change campaign. The campaign is designed to partner with the local community, supporting the people and organizations that are making a difference.

With the funds raised, 44 kids will be able to receive a week’s worth of new clothes and a backpack. With 500 events planned through 2016, the program promises to raise more than $1 million in support of local organizations. To learn more about the program, visit www.tdbringchange.com.

For a decade, Neat Stuff has seen the importance of self-esteem in kids. In this past year alone, the grassroots nonprofit has boosted the self-image of 7,000 local youth by providing items like new clothing and school uniforms to at-risk children. Full care packages typically include three bottoms, five tops, five sets of undergarments and a backpack. Providing kids with this wardrobe allows them to feel comfortable and often avoid being bullied.
