On February 8th, Casino Miami Jai-Alai – Miami Florida’s newest and hottest casino, welcomed more than 1,200 local fans to enjoy the tunes of the iconic multi-platinum selling Marshall Tucker Band. Their “Take The Highway” tour kicked off on January 8th in Honolulu, Hawaii. “Take The Highway is perfect not only because it is one of our big career songs but also because it’s what we do almost 200 days out of the year,” says MTB lead singer Doug Gray.

Their unique sound which mixes country, rock & roll, blues, jazz and everything in between is what continues to satisfy their loyal fans, old and new. At Casino Miami, they delighted the crowd with hits like “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Can’t You See,” “Fire On The Mountain,” and “Take The Highway.” In an entertaining 90 minute set, they had the place rocking out with their funky solos and solid rhythm section. “My favorite part of the show was listening to Marcus Henderson on the flute, sax and keyboards. It’s like he makes his instruments sing along,” added Eric Sanchez, an old-time fan of the band.

Weather you became a fan with their first platinum album, “Marshall Tucker Band” in 1973 or their newest album, “Love Songs,” they will surely entertain you with their lyrics and fantastic tunes. If you missed their live performance at Casino Miami Jai-Alai, you can catch them again on March 28th in Palm Beach, Florida.
