TotalBank has moved its corporate headquarters to the iconic Miami Tower located at 100 SE Second St. in Downtown Miami.
It will occupy three floors and will relocate its Downtown Banking Center to the newly redesigned ground floor. Since 1974 its headquarters has been at 2720 Coral Way.
“Our move to this building signifies how we are marking our 40th anniversary. The Miami Tower is perhaps the most recognizable building in our city. This mirrors our goal to ensure that TotalBank is thought of as Miami’s community bank of choice,” stated Luis de la Aguilera, president and CEO.
“Our newly designed space is also ecoconscious and will help us optimize efficiency, promote employee collaboration, and stimulate growth for our customerservice model,” he added.
With its name going on the Miami Tower, TotalBank is joining the Miami skyline for the first time. “TotalBank is a vital presence in South Florida’s commercial real estate footprint. By placing its name atop the Miami Tower, and leasing 60,000 square feet in this Class A office property in one of the most recognized buildings in the city,
TotalBank is further demonstrating its commitment to the market,” said Matthew W. Goodman, managing principal of Cresa. “Tenants like TotalBank are taking advantage of real estate opportunities to reinforce their already recognizable brands.
The Coral Way Banking Center will remain at the 2720 Coral Way location. Other parts of the building will undergo renovations to become the new home of TotalBank’s Operations Center, previously located at the Palmetto Bay Banking Center.
The bank will continue to house its International Personal Banking and Total Wealth Management units and Brickell Banking Center at 800 Brickell Ave.
