Exposé will perform at Magic City Casino on Dec. 31.

Magic City Casino, Miami’s first casino to offer Las Vegas style slot machines, will welcome 2016 with a Freestyle Explosion starring Exposé and Shannon at Stage 305 on Thursday, Dec. 31, at 9 p.m.

“Miami, get ready to bring in the New Year with the most iconic and talented freestyle artists in the industry. Eighties legends Exposé and Shannon are going to bring down the house with their popdance hits,” said Scott Savin, chief operating officer of Magic City Casino. “This will be the hottest place to be on New Year’s Eve, and you won’t have to worry about parking.”

Pop trio Exposé played a key role in pioneering the freestyle music genre with their smash single, Point Of No Return. They were the first group to have four top 10 hits, Point Of No Return, Come Go With Me, Exposed To Love and Seasons Change, on the Billboard Hot 100 charts from a debut album, Exposure.

Hailed as the “International Queen of Freestyle,” Shannon is best known for her single Let the Music Play, which sold over a million copies worldwide. The song was No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart and was listed in Billboard magazine’s Top 100 Songs of 1984.

General admission is $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Ticket includes a free champagne toast at midnight. Plus, a deejay will be spinning “throwback jams” throughout the night. VIP tables are available as well for $300 and include seating for four.
