Junior Orange Bowl members and volunteers recently met at Outback Steakhouse in South Miami for the last social of the summer.
Among the more than thirty volunteers and members gathered for great appetizers, drinks and fellowship were JOBC President Marti and Robert Bueso, Annie Goodrich, John Sorgie, Past President John and Pam Admire, Joey Deyerle, Enid Miguez, John Pallot, Sally Baumgartner, Marti Rosen, David and Linda Brown, and Micky Rauch, to mention a few.
During that affair, much of the talk centered around the myriad of JOBC activities that are almost upon us. In fact, the JOBC’s annual fundraiser with a theme of “Beach Blanket Bingo” and chaired this year by Cecilia Dubon Slesnick, will be held October 2, at Miami Rowing Club. Executive Director Mark Pidal noted that it is not too late to donate auction items or to become a sponsor for that event.
