Santa brought big gift for CGWC Dental Clinic

The GFWC Coral Gables Woman’s Club closed 2015 with a party for the children who are served by the club’s free childrens’ dental clinic. These children who fall between the cracks in the health care system. come from South Miami as well as many other cities around Miami-Dade County. Food, gifts and a visit from Santa made for a festive day. Santa came with more than just gifts for the kid. Santa and friends also presented a check for $1,000 to support the efforts of the club and its dental clinic that provides more than $220,000 in free dental care annually to children . The donation came from The Tooth Healer for Children Around the World, Inc. Representing that non profit organization to present the check to Dental Clinic Director Dr. Iris Torres and Coral Gables Woman’s Club Treasurer Nancy DesMangles were Mark Tourin, Barbie and Oscar Fernandez, Lynn Bauer and Esme Menoud.
