OHLA is looking for families who can spend time showing the foreign students all about the city’s life and culture.

Open Hearts Learning Abroad (OHLA), an international educational organization that specializes in offering language programs in Florida, is looking for host families in Coral Gables that will welcome students from abroad in their homes.

In collaboration with the Miami- Dade County Public Schools District, OHLA provides the placements of foreign students in Miami for either a semester or a full-year program. Students from countries such as Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, China, France, Brazil and Spain seeking to attend Coral Gables Senior High School among nine other high schools in the Miami area need families who can spend time showing them all about the city’s life and culture.

Host families receive a monthly stipend and must provide meals, room and homework space, and be no further than 45 minutes from Coral Gables High.

For more information, contact OHLA at 305-379-4027 or visit online at www.ohla.com/host.
