Alhambra Orchestra musicians, directed by Dr. Daniel Andai, will present a program of varied chamber music for winds, strings and piano, featuring more than 30 orchestra members in creative combinations, at a free family concert on Sunday, Apr. 8, 7:30 p.m., at Coral Gables Congregational Church, 3010 DeSoto Blvd.
The program includes music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Schubert, Reger and Mendelssohn. Find out why the great composers chose to write for small combinations of players, and why audiences so enjoy the intimate performances we call chamber music.
