2020 Salzedo, a new mixed-use development by Codina Partners and Coral Gables’ newest office building since 2013, is 95 percent leased within five months of delivery.
Worldwide architectural design firm HKS has signed a lease for 12,132 square feet and tech-enabled knowledge company Ilumno Management has signed a lease for 9,294 square feet. Blanca Commercial Real Estate is the exclusive leasing agent for the office portion of the building. Alexander Cahlin at Blanca Commercial Real Estate represented Ilumno Management. Located in the heart of downtown Coral Gables, 2020 Salzedo offers a coveted location close to downtown Miami, Brickell, Coconut Grove, and South Miami, as well as direct access to Miami International Airport via Lejeune Road.
Recently, statewide law firm Stearns Weaver Miller took advantage of the prime location and signed a lease to occupy the 3,000-square-foot penthouse office space. The office building also is home to the headquarters of real estate companies Codina Partners, CC Homes, and CC Residential. “2020 Salzedo attracted quality tenants drawn to the project’s easily accessible location in Coral Gables, well-conceived and executed high-end finishes, and great on-site amenities,” said Danet Linares, vice chair of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm. “We were able to achieve a quick lease up of the office spaces at 2020 Salzedo, which validates the strong demand for Class A office space in the Coral Gables submarket.”
2020 Salzedo includes 49,379 square feet of office space and 6,882 square feet of retail space in a six-story Class A building; 213 luxury rental units in a 16-story residential tower, and 566 parking spaces in a seven-story garage.
This summer, prominent pastry chef and author, Antonio Bachour, announced he will be opening a bakery, restaurant and pastry academy that will anchor 2020 Salzedo.
