The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Coral Gables, recently recognized shining examples of architectural achievement among the city’s commercial properties with the City Beautiful Awards.
This year’s City Beautiful Awards presentation took place on Thursday, Aug. 20, during the signature Good Morning Coral Gables breakfast at the historic Biltmore Hotel. Finalists, honorees and chamber members gathered to recognize outstanding new and restorative work throughout the City Beautiful.
The 2015 City Beautiful Awards recognized commercial spaces in five different categories. This winners of this year’s awards program were:
Commercial Space – Interior, C1 Bank, 1220 Ponce de Leon Blvd.;
Commercial Building – Exterior, Adam R. Rose and Peter R. McQuillan Arts Center, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden;
Restaurant Dining Room – Interior, Bulla Gastrobar, 2500 Ponce de Leon Blvd.;
Retail Showroom – Interior, Oceanview Shades & Drapery, 2522 Ponce de Leon Blvd., and
Restoration Project -The Art Building, 1300 Campo Sano (University of Miami).
