Coral Gables Community Foundation opens Hurricane Irma Recovery Fund

The Coral Gables Community Foundation has established the Hurricane Irma Recovery Fund to benefit fellow Floridians impacted across the state.

“We wish everyone strength and safety as our city readjusts after Hurricane Irma and our thoughts are with our friends across the state who received the full impact of the storm,” said Mary Snow, executive director of the Coral Gables Community Foundation.

Proceeds will benefit Floridians served by the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys, the Community Foundation of Collier County, the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and the Tampa Bay Community Foundation.

“As they begin to assess damages from Hurricane Irma and uncover the full effects of the storm, we’d like to offer assistance in any way we can,” Snow said.

Those who would like to donate can do so on the Foundation’s website by visiting http://gablesfoundation.org/giving/donate/.
Coral Gables Community Foundation fund holders can donate directly from their Donor Advised Fund to the Hurricane Irma Recovery Fund by emailing mary@gablesfoundation.org.
