Coral Gables Hospital has recognized Cynthia Robinson, RN, for being named this quarter’s DAISY award winner. She works as a telemetry nurse and has gained the respect and gratitude of her coworkers and patients.
Robinson is described as caring, compassionate and highly professional. She always takes the time to communicate with her team members and educate her patients to ensure they receive the best possible care. She has proven herself to be an asset to Coral Gables Hospital with her willingness to go above and beyond in order to help patients and coworkers.
“I want to congratulate Cynthia on being recognized as this quarter’s DAISY award winner,” said Patrick Downes, CEO of Coral Gables Hospital. “We truly appreciate her unwavering passion and commitment to delivering exceptional care to her patients.”
The DAISY Foundation was created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes after he passed away from an autoimmune disease. His family was so touched by the compassion and hope provided by the nurses who cared for him that they created the DAISYAward. The award honors nurses who provide excellent patient care while simultaneously providing extraordinary emotional support to patients and their families.
