Untold Miracles has detailed Dr. Velma Palmer’s life of struggles, faith and victory. She encountered major challenges and obstacles but she overcame them through her confidence in God. Her simple, modest beginning on a farm in rural Jamaica, has given her courage and determination to ‘stand tall’ and never give up.

AUTHORS BIOGRAPHY Velma Palmer Ph.D. is the second of eleven children, born and raised in the parish of Saint Mary, Jamaica, West Indies. As a child she attended Donnington All Age School in Saint Mary. She graduated from Warren Hall High School and Mico Teacher’s College in Kingston, Jamaica. At the age of fifteen she had surrendered her life to the Lord and has experienced countless miracles filled with endless blessings beyond the ordinary. Her passion and spiritual gifts were revealed at an early age at National Baptist Church of God in Kingston where she taught Sunday school, directed and counseled youth meetings, and served as a Missionary Leader. During the past 40 years she has been an active member of the Church of God of Prophecy both in Jamaica and the United States of America; mainly at Triumphant Church of God of Prophecy in Cutler Ridge. As an ordained minister she has served the ministry in various capacities throughout the years. She has been married to Minister Matthew Palmer for 44 years and is the mother of three children and five grand children. After working as a certified teacher at Greenwich All Age Elementary for thirteen years, she migrated to Miami, Florida in the summer of 1985. She has always been eager to learn and that inspired her to return to college where she was awarded an Associate Degree from Miami-Dade College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Mathematics from Curtin University of Technology. Over the past 35 years her teaching career has impacted thousands of lives at different age levels; she is proud to motivate others to reach their highest potential in life.
