Federation of Women’s Clubs holds 76th annual luncheon

Fashion show coordinator Sheffield MacIntrye (center with hat) poses with her models at Dade County Federation of Women’s Clubs Fiesta Luncheon.

A sell-out crowd packed the ballroom to enjoy an auction, lunch and a vintage fashion show with fashions provided by Back-in-Style.com modeled by various members of local clubs including Nannette Carmody, Nancy Voye, Virginia Reeve, Mayra Lara, Carol Shabe, Irene Munroe, Pam Ciravolo, Nell Penick, Ann Robson, Maxine Bizette, Mireya Kilmon, Leota Lane, Carol Ponzini and Zoe Prieto. Capping off the show was DCFWC president Charlyne Carruth who modeled a Carolina Herrera red dress that was the talk of the event and, as a surprise, was given to her as a gift from Back-in- Style.com.

From decorations to raffles and program, the day was one to remember. Credit goes to event chair Ronni Prince, who was ably assisted by committee members: Heike Leibkuchler, Mary Cross, Linda Hartwell, Sheffield MacIntrye, Barbara Lapsley, Pam Schaefer, Dolly MacIntrye, and Ruth Perry.
