Coral Gables Restaurant Week, presented by Bacardi USA Inc., launches with “Taste of the Gables” at the Westin Colonnade Hotel, located at 180 Aragon Ave., on May 31, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Event-goers will cast their votes for the “Best Taste of the Gables” award after sampling a variety of tastes from participating restaurants. The fifth annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week, presented by Bacardi USA Inc., traditionally sells out restaurant reservations at more than 30 fine restaurants in Downtown Coral Gables, which offer fixed-price three-course menus for lunch and dinner at a 20 percent savings off from their regularly offered fare. It runs for two weeks from June 4 to 17, just enough time to sample many of the 30 restaurants.
