Gables Ponce, the newest luxury apartment community developed by Gables Residential in Coral Gables, celebrated the topping-off for the mixed-use development’s Phase II.

Located at 4535 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Phase II of Gables Ponce is a 10-story addition adjacent to its immensely successful Phase I. Plans for Phase II include a residents-only spa, enhanced fitness amenities and a sundeck with fountains.

Phase II of Gables Ponce offers 119 apartment homes and 24,000 square feet of office space, which complements Phase I’s 248 apartment homes and 26,540 square feet of commercial space. Phase II features studios, one- and two-bedroom luxury apartment homes ranging from 596 to 1,214 square feet, offering 20 distinct floor plans.

Comparable to those in Phase I, all residences will feature contemporary kitchens with custom, espresso-wood cabinetry, granite countertops and Energy Star stainless steel appliances, as well as unique, custom tile flooring in main living areas, spacious walk-in closets and sprawling terraces.

Gables Ponce combines modern living with refined elegance, offering resort-like amenities and access to upscale retail establishments. The community is anchored by Epicure Gourmet Market, situated in a 24,000-square-foot space on the first floor, which is scheduled to open in December. Fitness celebrity Jennifer Nicole Lee also will open a workout studio in retail space on the first floor by year’s end.

Gables Ponce already includes an expansive pool deck and community spaces for gatherings and relaxation, such as the lounge-like Café de Ponce and Club Ponce, a gaming room complete with ping pong and billiards. The mixed-use community is steps away from the shopping hub of the Village at Merrick Park, and has close proximity to the bustling retail, fashion, dining and business offerings of Miracle Mile and downtown Coral Gables.
