The pub hosts the biggest St. Patty’s Day party with ongoing live music beginning at 5 p.m., and the famous street party featuring three live bands, consecutively, along Salzedo and Aragon Avenue in Coral Gables. The street party is free and open to the public.

But, should you wish to start your Irish day celebration earlier, come inside John Martin’s for delicious Irish and American fare, with a full menu for lunch and a special menu for dinner including shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash.

You will hear from the Irish band, Paddy Kelleghan and the Rolling C’s at 5 p.m., followed by the very popular Hard Liquor Band at 7 p.m. UV-The U2 Tribute Show will take the stage at 9 p.m. and delight the crowd with the U2 live concert experience, playing the hits and classics that have made U2 one of the biggest bands in the world and Ireland’s No. 1 musical export.

“We are pleased and proud that our St. Patty’s Day celebration, begun 21 years ago, has taken off and become the place for those who are Irish and for those who are just Irish for the day,” said Martin Lynch, proprietor of John Martin’s.

“This annual party provides an opportunity for people of all ages to gather and celebrate this great tradition. Most importantly, it will benefit the Coral Gables Rotary Club.”

The restaurant will feature a traditional St. Patrick’s Day menu with smoked salmon, Gaelic steak, Irish stuffed chicken, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash, Irish potato soup, bread and butter pudding, and homemade Bailey’s ice cream for dessert.

Along the street, crowds can enjoy fish and chips, chicken tenders, corn beef sandwiches, hot dogs, and Irish beverages.

In addition, John Martin’s will donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Coral Gables Rotary Club.
