In a very positive sign of the strong appeal of the famed Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Liberty Entertainment Group, an owner and operator of premier event facilities, restaurants and nightclubs, has signed a lease for 7,076 square feet of space to open a new restaurant — Cibo Wine Bar — at Ten Aragon, also known as 45 Miracle Mile.
Cibo Wine Bar will bring authentic rustic Italian flare blended with a vibrant nightlife, promising to be the new hot spot on the Mile. Scheduled to open in late September, this Italian eatery and wine bar will offer traditional Italian cuisine in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
With Liberty Group at the helm for the company’s second venue in Miami, the attention to detail will be flawless and the food delicious. The space, like the food it presents, will be designed to evoke a sense of unpretentious sophistication and elegant rusticity.
“We are extremely excited by the opportunity to expand our presence in Miami with the opening of Cibo Wine Bar in Coral Gables,” said Nick Di Donato, president and CEO of Liberty Entertainment Group.
“Our concept for this dynamic establishment will serve as a fitting yet distinctive complement to the Miracle Mile,” he added.
“Liberty Entertainment Group will bring its own sophisticated touch to this coveted address,” said Greg Berger, principal of Robert Martin Company, the building’s developer. “We are very excited to welcome Cibo Wine Bar as the restaurant will be a perfect complement to our other dynamic retail and commercial tenants.”
Three other retail spaces ranging from 544 to 7,235 square feet — one is a vacant restaurant space — are available at the building. Located in the heart of the Mile, the building is the beneficiary of significant foot traffic both day and night, with numerous weekend events conducted along the celebrated retail corridor that draw crowds to the area.
Continental Real Estate Companies (CREC) recently was named as the exclusive leasing agent for the property’s commercial space. The property also is home to 184 condominium residences, as well as a 615-space parking garage structure.
“Miracle Mile in Coral Gables is a prime shopping destination for residents, as well as a recognized destination for tourists visiting Miami,” said Steven Henenfeld, vice president at CREC. “We anticipate that the coveted availabilities at the building will attract other top-tier restaurateurs or high-end retailers due to the area’s strong demographics and the building’s location at the heart of the Coral Gables shopping district.”
The vacant restaurant space that is available features high quality finishes, top-of-the-line kitchen equipment, outside seating, on-site self-parking and valet service, in addition to excellent signage opportunities.
