Camp UOTS recently was in full swing with campers enjoying a Key Biscayne pool party, Tons of Fun Jeep Tours and Biscayne Bay boat rides. Campers also visited Orlando for two days at theme parks, returning to Miami to participate in bowling at Splitsville, K1 go-cart racing and laser tag.

“When I heard about Camp UOTS, I thought it was amazing, but to be here and see the smiles of kid’s faces, this is incredible,” said Flynt Griffin, president, Tons of Fun Tours. “I’m happy to be part of this and I hope others will get involved.”

Camp UOTS is a week long sleepover camp filled with fun activities such as pool parties, a three-day trip to Orlando to visit Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Other activities include bowling, laser tag, swimming with dolphins, delicious food and much more. The entire week is under the supervision of Miami Children’s Hospital doctors, nurses and staff who serve as camp counselors. Camp UOTS is sponsored in full by private donors and its title sponsor — the United Order True Sisters.

United Order True Sister (UOTS) has a long-standing history of philanthropy in the South Florida community. Throughout the years UOTS has demonstrated a commitment by supporting improvements in the areas of clinical care, medical research and patient services and their achievements are truly admirable. But perhaps the most impressive and far reaching of all their accomplishments has been the establishment of the UOTS Special Clinic Camp for the younger cancer patients of Miami Children’s Hospital.

Tons of Fun Tours and Rentals launched in 2013 as an alternative to the bus tours of Miami. Their Miami City tours are comprehensive day and night tours of Miami and Miami Beach. They use the world’s only giant open-air Jeeps made with stadium seating, captain’s chairs and dual air conditioning systems. Every tour has both a licensed chauffeur and a professional tour guide, allowing for a very intimate, interactive tour. The Jeeps accommodate up to eight people and also can be used as a really fun limo service. Visit www.tonsoffuntours.com.
