The Alhambra Orchestra, with guest conductor Nicolas Repetto, an up-and-coming film composer from South Florida, invites the public to visit beautiful Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Rd., for a lively concert of movie music on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m.
“The Silver Screen” themed family pops concert features current and classic film and videogame themes performed by the full symphony orchestra. You will recognize a medley of themes by John Williams (the Star Wars composer), music from Pirates of the Caribbean and Phantom of the Opera, plus themes from the videogame Uncharted, and hear selections by top young film composers including Repetto.
Bring the whole family to this uplifting event, co-sponsored by Pinecrest Gardens. The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, supporting classical music and music education.
